Yo what's up. My name is Evan and welcome to the blog. Since August of 2017 I've been shiny hunting with the big goal of getting a Shiny Living Dex. Not just any Shiny Living Dex though. This is the Shiny Living Dex +. Essentially a Living Dex for every generation of Pokémon. So pretty much I'm trying to get a living dex within the following generations/games
* Gen 2 (Gold/Silver/Crystal)
* Gen 3 (RSE/FRLG)
* Gen 4 (DPPT/HGSS)
* Gen 5 (BW/B2W2)
* Gen 6 (XY/ORAS)
* Gen 7 (SuMo/USUM)
* Gen 8 (Sword and Shield)
* Go
* Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee
* Quest
* Mystery Dungeon DX
Yes, I am crazy. So for every thing I just listed up there I'm trying to get one of each shiny that's legally available. Right now I'm nearing on my 500th shiny for the quest. I've been keeping track of them all on a old, rundown notebook but it's been getting harder to keep track of everything and I somehow keep losing the Notebook. So I've been meaning to use this blog as a place to help me keep better track of everything. Along with sharing all the shinies I've gotten. Tell my stories from all these insane hunts. Talk about the highs and lows. The successes the failures. And just have some fun. So every now and again I'll share some of the shinies I've gotten in sets of 10s and tell my story about their hunts. I've made so many good memories through shiny hunting and I would love to have a record of them and share them. So that's the gist of this blog. At some point I'm also gonna make a list of every shiny I have here as well. I'm still working on transferring what I wrote down in the notebook to a page on this blog
As of the writing of this I'm at 480 shinies that count towards this project (this isn't counting fails or repeats that I may also talk about occasionally on this blog) over the course of many games. We have everything from Wormhole shinies to Chain Fishing, SOS and Full Odds. This has been an exciting quest to partake in and I'm ready to begin this next chapter in it. But before we can get to some of my more recent shinies I'd like to catch you up on all the pevious 480 that we caught so far. So I'll be covering all those first in order going in chunks of 10 as I said before.
With that said thank you for watching. Also happy Pokémon day. If there's any day to start this it might as well be during the 25th anniversary. What are your guy's thoughts on the new games. I'm personally really excited for both of them. Also from the looks of it I'll probably have to do another separate shiny dex for the Diamond Pearl remakes and the Arceus game. So add those to the list, but things might change when they come out. I'm also kinda expecting shinies to be in New Snap, and if they are I'll have to shiny hunt in those games, but we'll see. So in total I have 11 seperate living dexes and that'll be bumped up to possibly 14 by the beginning of 2022. Damn. Either way thank you again. See you guys soon. Buh-bye.
